I would like to welcome you to the official page of the Sultanate of Oman Embassy in the Republic of Türkiye, where you can obtain information about consular services, and areas of commercial, investment, cultural and academic cooperation existing between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye.
We work at the Sultanate of Oman Embassy in Ankara, in cooperation with the relevant authorities in the two friendly countries, to strengthen and develop the bonds of cooperation and consolidate the existing fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye.
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye recently celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on June 18, 1973. Therefore, we look forward to achieving more achievements in the bilateral relations between our two friendly countries and establishing new links and areas of cooperation that contribute to consolidating the historical bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye.
The Embassy in Ankara will continue to serve all Omani citizens and the Turkish people, as it has always been.

Consular services
The Embassy offers a range of consular services both to Omani citizens visiting Turkey and to Turkish citizens or residents wishing to visit Oman for tourism or business purposes. These services cover:
Key objectives
The aims of Oman’s mission to Turkey include:
- Promoting political and diplomatic cooperation
- Enhancing security and defence cooperation
- Facilitating trade and investment between the two countries
- Promoting cultural, educational, and scientific exchanges
Political and diplomatic cooperation
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Turkey are working to strengthen their historical political relations based on the common interests of the two countries, built on the geostrategic locations of both countries.
The two countries are keen to coordinate and consult on various regional and international issues through meetings of the Political Consultation Committee between the foreign ministries of the two countries and through communications and meetings between officials in the two countries.
The Sultanate of Oman is also committed to working with the Republic of Turkey to promote multilateral solutions, based on dialogue, and to strive to achieve peace and stability in the region and the world.
Trade and investment
The Embassy works to follow up coordination between the relevant authorities in the two countries to implement the outcomes of the meetings of the Omani-Turkish Joint Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation, which is held every two years alternately between the capitals of the two countries.
The mission also works to strengthen economic diplomacy efforts to implement Oman Vision 2040 by introducing the commercial environment and investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman to official Turkish authorities, businessmen, business associations, and those interested in the Republic of Türkiye.

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Ankara works to enhance cooperation between the relevant authorities in the two countries in the field of education, higher education, research, cultural, and media fields.
