Oman sends condolences to Iran over shrine attack

The Sultanate of Oman has sent its condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran over the attack that targeted the Shah Cheragh shrine in the city of Shiraz yesterday, in which one person was killed and at least eight injured.

A Foreign Ministry statement also sent Oman's sympathies to the families of the victims and sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured.

The statement affirmed Oman's firm position in condemning all forms of terrorism.
