Emir of Kuwait to pay state visit to Oman

His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait will pay a state visit to the Sultanate of Oman from Tuesday.

A statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court today, reads as follows:

“In embodiment of the advanced ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait, and in affirmation of cooperation between them in various spheres and levels, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait will pay a two-day state visit to the Sultanate of Oman, starting from Tuesday, February 6th.

“The visit will explore a range of fields and topics of mutual interest in a manner that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the two countries towards a more prosperous future.

“The Emir of Kuwait will attend alongside His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik the opening of Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries on Wednesday February 7th. The opening of the refinery marks a culmination in relations particularly those pertaining to fruitful economic cooperation between the two countries.”
