Oman and Poland hold political talks
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Poland today held a round of political consultations in the Polish capital, Warsaw.
The consultations covered bilateral relations between Oman and Poland and prospects for developing relations further. Views were also exchanged on regional and international issues.
The Omani representation at this third round of consultations was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs. Pawel Jablonski, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary led the Polish representation.
At the end the of consultations, as evidence of strengthening bilateral relations, Oman and Poland signed an agreement on mutual exemption from entry visas for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports.
During his visit to Warsaw, Sheikh Khalifa also met with Zbigniew Rau, Poland's Foreign Minister and Kamilla Krol, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
Oman's Political Undersecretary also met with Pawel Kurtasz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Polish Agency for Investment and Trade. The meeting discussed ways to develop economic and investment cooperation between Oman and Poland.
The round of consultations was attended by Ambassador Munther Almanthari, Head of the Europe Department of Oman's Foreign Ministry, as well as officials from both sides.
