Oman and Korea hold political consultations

A political consultation session was held today between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Korea at the Korean Foreign Ministry in the capital, Seoul.

During the consultations, the two sides agreed to enhance trade exchange and increase investments in various fields such as green hydrogen, technology and logistics, as well as cultural cooperation.

The two sides also exchanged views on current issues of common interest.

The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Diplomatic Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, while the Korean side was headed by Cho Hyun-dong, First Vice Foreign Minister.

During his visit, the Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs also met with Park Jin, Foreign Minister of Korea. The meeting discussed, regional and international issues and aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

On the Omani side, the meetings were attended by Zakariya bin Hamad Alsaadi, Oman's ambassador to Korea and the delegation accompanying delegation the Undersecretary.
