Oman and Tonga establish diplomatic relations

The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Tonga have signed a joint statement establishing diplomatic relations based on their cooperation and friendship.

The statement was signed in New York on behalf of Oman by Ambassador Dr Mohammed bin Awadh Alhassan, the Sultanate's Permanent Representative to the UN, and on behalf of Tonga by Ambassador Viliami Va’inga Tone, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the UN.
