His Majesty the Sultan receives the Ruler of Dubai

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said received this morning His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at His Majesty’s residence in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, friendly conversations were exchanged and the historical fraternal relations between Oman and the UAE were reviewed plus ways to strengthen them in various fields for the benefit of the Omani and Emirati people.

Oman was represented at the meeting by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Sayyid Dr Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the UAE.

From the UAE, it was attended by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports Corporation and CEO of Emirates Airlines; Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE; General Talal Humaid Belhoul, Head of the State Security Service in Dubai, and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of DP World Group, Chairman of the Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, and Chairman of the Dubai World Chamber of Commerce.
