Winners of Ministry ‘Smart Embassies Hackathon' announced
The Smart Embassies and Continuous Improvement Hackathon, organised by the Foreign Ministry, concluded at the Ministry’s headquarters under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs.
The closing ceremony included honouring the winning teams who presented innovative ideas and smart solutions aimed at improving consular services and enhancing operational efficiency within the Ministry and Omani embassies abroad.
In his speech at the closing ceremony, Sheikh Khalifa highlighted the importance of such initiatives in driving innovation and advancing the diplomatic work system.
He praised the quality of the participants’ contributions and the creativity of the teams, which reflected their commitment to offering innovative and sustainable solutions that align with Oman’s aspirations in digital transformation and institutional development.
The Smart Embassies and Continuous Improvement Hackathon is part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote innovation and sustainable development in diplomatic work, in line with Oman Vision 2040 and the goals of governmental digital transformation.
The event was attended by Khalid Almuslahi, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with various Ministry officials.
