Minister hosts bilateral talks with Saudi Foreign Minister

Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arrived in Muscat and was met at the airport by the Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.

The Minister then accompanied his guest on a visit to the Rub al Khali land crossing between Saudi Arabia and Oman.

During the visit, Sayyid Badr and the Saudi Foreign Minister toured the crossing’s facilities.

They reviewed the services provided by the crossing to support trade, tourism and traffic movement and noted how these facilities contribute to the cooperation and integration between the two countries across various fields.

The visit reflected the strong bonds and fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples and the mutual desire to boost logistical and economic cooperation.

It aligns with the aspirations of leadership in both countries under Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040.

Following the Rub al Khali visit, Sayyid Badr and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held a bilateral meeting at Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

They discussed strategies for bilateral cooperation and joint initiatives under the Omani–Saudi Coordination Council to support the interests of both peoples.

They also reviewed major developments on regional and international issues and examined efforts to address them through political and diplomatic channels.

The Ministers affirmed the importance of continued coordination and consultation and agreed to intensify cooperation to deliver greater benefits to their countries and the wider region. They also noted that this approach would enhance regional security and stability and support sustainable development.
