Egypt: Oman at meeting on two state solution
The Sultanate of Oman participated in the Cairo meeting of the International Alliance to Implement the Two State Solution, entitled ‘Supporting UNRWA in the Context of the Two State Solution'. Hosted by Egypt, the meeting is part of an ongoing series of discussions within the Global Alliance for the Two-State Solution, focusing on practical steps toward establishing a Palestinian state.
Oman was represented by Ambassador Sheikh Faisal Omar Almarhoon, Head of the Arab Department at the Foreign Ministry.
The meeting in Cairo is the fourth in a series following those in Riyadh, Brussels, and Oslo. It is part of the international coalition's efforts to implement the two state solution, a coalition that was launched in September 2023 on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
