Uzbekistan: Ambassador receives gift from President on Women's Day

Bobur Usmanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan visited the Sultanate of Oman's Embassy in Tashkent to present a gift from Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to Ambassador AlSayyida Wafa Albusaidi on the occasion of Women's Day.

The Republic of Uzbekistan celebrates Women's Day on March 8 to recognise the role women play in building society and their contribution in various fields. On this occasion, many events and celebrations are held, and a number of Uzbek women are honoured with a medal by the President in recognition of their achievements.
