Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets Libyan counterpart

Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, met with Mohammed Khalil Issa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs of the State of Libya, at the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry.

They reviewed relations between Oman and Libya and ways to develop them in all fields to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly countries.

The meeting also touched on the latest political developments in Libya and the most important regional issues.

The meeting was attended by Hajar Amr Khalifa Al Nami, Libya's Ambassador to Oman, Ambassador Dr Zainab Alqasimi, head of the Ministry's Diplomatic Institute, and a number of officials from both countries.
