Tunisia: Embassy celebrates National Day

Dr Hilal bin Abdullah Alsanani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia, hosted a reception on the occasion of the 53rd National Day at the Sheraton Hotel in the Tunisian capital.

The Tunisian government was represented by Dr Muhammad Ali Al Boughdiri, Minister of Education, and Dr Ibrahim Al Shaibi, Minister of Religious Affairs.

Also present were a number of Tunisian political figures, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of Arab and international organisations, consuls, military attachés to Tunisia, university presidents, academics, media professionals, artists, Tunisian intellectuals and Omani students studying in Tunisia.

Ambassador Alsanani delivered a speech in which he praised the cooperation and relations between the Oman and Tunisia in various fields.

In his speech, the Tunisian Education Minister of Education praised the strong relations and cooperation between the Sultanate and the Republic of Tunisia.

During the event, films about the Omani Renaissance and Oman Vision 2040 were shown.
