Formal reception for His Majesty at the Kremlin Palace

A formal reception ceremony was held at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, on the occasion of his state visit to the Russian Federation.

President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation led the reception for His Majesty, wishing him and his accompanying official delegation a pleasant stay and a successful visit.

This was followed by playing of the Omani and Russian Federation national anthems.

His Majesty then greeted senior Russian officials and President Putin shook hands with the official delegation accompanying His Majesty.

His Majesty then held a bilateral meeting with President Putin followed by an official session of talks at the Kremlin Palace.

The discussions covered the strong ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation, the fruitful cooperation between the two countries, and ways to enhance mutual benefits across various sectors. They also covered current global developments.

The official session was attended by the delegation accompanying His Majesty and a number of senior Russian officials.
