The second round of political consultations was held virtually between the Foreign Ministry of Oman and the Kingdom of Spain

The meeting was chaired on the Omani side by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Harthy – Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, while on the Spanish side it was chaired by Her Excellency Christina Gallach Figueres – Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

The two sides discussed various ways to support and strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in different fields as well discussions around regional and international issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Her Excellency Maria Luisa Huidobro, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Sultanate, and Her Excellency Ambassador Kifaya bint Khamis bin Miyah Al Raisi – the Sultanate’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, as well as a number of officials from both Foreign Ministries.
