During the meeting, the two wides explored aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and the means to develop cooperation in financial and economic fields.
The Sultanate, under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, has affirmed its continuous commitment to the main fundamentals and principles of its foreign policy.
The US administration showed its support towards ending the Yemeni crisis during the meeting held between Oman and the United States of America.
Speaking at the meeting, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, acknowledged the positive assistance of Oman in the Yemen crisis.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments and renewed efforts for ending the war in Yemen.
His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, gave a television interview on the “Special Interview” program with the media, Mais Al-Harbi, which was broadcast on Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels, in which many issues of concern were discussed.
The Sultanate offers condolences to the United States of America for the victims of the floods caused by Hurricane Ida.
The session explored areas of cooperation between the two countries, reaffirming their keenness to continue promoting cooperation in various fields.
