The meeting discussed the situation in Gaza and Lebanon and efforts to ensure an immediate ceasefire and contain the military escalation in the region.
The Minister stressed the importance of reducing the escalation in Gaza, Lebanon and the Red Sea through peaceful means, and Oman's developmental and environmental plans.
Oman's Foreign Minister stressed the belief of the Sultanate, its leadership, government and people, in using legitimate and peaceful means to resolve issues and conflicts.
Both Ministers affirmed their commitment to strengthening the positive cooperation between Oman and Syria.
