Oman’s Foreign Minister meets with UAE’s Foreign Minister

The delegation heard a lecture on Omani foreign policy priorities.
The reception was held In the presence of HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
Held at Al Wasl Plaza, Expo 2020 Dubai, the ceremony began with the hoisting the Sultanate of Oman’s flag and the playing of the Royal Anthem.
The two sides discussed the strong historic ties between the UAE and Oman and ways of strengthening their cooperation. The ministers also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and the latest regional and global developments.
During the calls, they stressed their countries' solidarity with the Sultanate while it tackles impacts of the tropical cyclone.
The message was handed over by Mohammed bin Sultan al-Suwaidi, the UAE’s Ambassador to the Sultanate.
Sayyid Badr has received a written message from the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
The Sultanate of Oman has congratulated the United Arab Emirates on its election as a member of the United Nations Security Council for 2022-2023.
