The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America also participated in the meeting, which the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Yemen attended as a guest.

His Excellency the UAE Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the kind visit made by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik yesterday to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to offer condolences on the death of His Highness the late Sheikh, stressing the profound impact the visit left on the hearts of the Emirati people.
His Majesty has issued Royal orders to announce a state of mourning and flags will be flown at half mast in the public and private sectors, as well as at Omani embassies abroad, for three days.
