In an interview with the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi gives his view on the developing relations with Saudi Arabia and other international issues.
During the visit, discussions will cover all aspects of cooperation between the two countries with a view to upgrading bilateral relations, and realising the aspirations of the two peoples and achieving the objectives set in all fields.
During his meeting with His Majesty, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques along with his best wishes for good health, happiness and a long life for His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people as well as continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
The foreign ministers discussed prospects for further strengthening ties in all fields. They also iscussed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The Council discussed reports on implementation of the Supreme Council's decisions made at the Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah Summit, as well as reports from ministerial committees and the Secretariat General.
The consultations reviewed bilateral relations and how to promote them.
His Majesty the Sultan has received a verbal message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
The written message dealing with the strong fraternal relations binding the two countries and their brotherly peoples was delivered by Oman’s Foreign Minister.
