The session was held at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat Generalin Riyadh.
The Sultanate of Oman has affirmed its commitment to implement a plan for energy transition and decarbonisation with investments of more than USD 190 billion by 2050.
The two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on the forthcoming Arab-Chinese summit.
The "Algeria Declaration" rejected all foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and stressed the need to adhere to the Arab Peace Initiative to solve the Palestinian issue.
During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the implementation of decisions issued by the GCC’s Supreme Council aimed at strengthening joint Gulf action and redoubling efforts to translate Gulf ambitions and goals into reality.
The meeting, at the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, stressed the importance of enhancing the mechanism for joint action based on shared values, joint interests and existing cooperation in various areas.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America also participated in the meeting, which the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Yemen attended as a guest.
The summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was attended by the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries; the President of the United States, Joe Biden; His Majesty King Abdallah II of Jordan; President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of Egypt and Mustafa al Kazemi, Prime Minister of Iraq.
