On behalf of His Majesty, His Highness Sayyid Shihab, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, led the Omani delegation to the GCC-ASEAN summit.
His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, is heading Oman's delegation to the GCC/ASEAN summit.
His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs will head Oman’s delegation at the GCC-ASEAN Summit.
His Majesty reviewed developments in the Palestinian arena, reaffirming the Sultanate’s solidarity with the Palestinian people while supporting calls for de-escalation, in particular an end to attacks on innocent children and civilians.
The joint statement covers many issues including trade and investment, regional security and cooperation, climate change and the environment and regional and international issues.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to further cooperation.
His Highness was accompanied by Prince Badr bin Abdullah Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Culture.
A Foreign Ministry statement gave Oman's full support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host the tournament.
