The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between Oman and Germany in the fields of economics, investment and renewable and green energy.
The meeting dealt with the growing bilateral relations with both sides stressing the importance of the visit of His Majesty to Germany and how it represented the start of a new era in the relations of the two countries.
The statement comes out of the long-standing brotherly relations and close cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting reviewed the friendly relations and the growing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, emphasising the desire to enhance cooperation as the two countries celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.
The Ministers exchanged congratulations on the fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Oman and Japan, stressing the importance of building the close cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the existing friendship and cooperative relations between the two countries were reviewed and the joint interest was emphasised to strengthen and develop relations in various fields.
The meeting between Foreign Minister of Oman H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi and External Affairs Minister of the Republic of India H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar came during the first visit of Sayyid Badr Albusaidi to India since his appointment as the Foreign Minister of Oman in August 2020.
The two sides reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation and ways to develop them further especially in the sectors of renewable and clean energy, mining, logistics and ports.
