The session reviewed bilateral relations and affirmed the keenness of both countries in enhancing relations in various fields.
His Majesty welcomed the ambassadors and assured them that they will receive all support to facilitate the performance of their duties.
The ministers discussed the relations between the two friendly countries, emphasising their keenness to enhance cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
In his cables to leaders of brotherly and friendly Arab and Islamic countries, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sentiments along with his best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to them and their countries’ people wishing them further progress, prosperity and welfare.
Oman was represented by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs.
The meeting is discussing issues such as the Palestinian cause, economic cooperation and combating terrorism and Islamophobia.
