The joint statement was issued following of a meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee between Jordan and Oman.
The meeting discussed cooperation between the Oman and Jordan as well as current regional and international issues.
Memoranda of understanding and executive programmes were signed relating to industrial cities, youth, the environment, consumer protection and educational cooperation.
The two countries' Foreign Ministers also discussed regional and international issues.
The meeting was part of a consultation and coordination process between the participating countries.
