Oman's Foreign Minister said the GCC countries are taking rational incremental steps in their continuing political and diplomatic effort to halt military action and allow the delivery of aid.
GCC Foreign Ministers called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, an end to Israel's military operations in Gaza and an end Israel’s blockade, announcing funding of US$ 100 million for an aid package to reach Gaza urgently.
The Ministers agreed on the importance of protecting civilians in the current crisis in Gaza.
The joint statement covers many issues including trade and investment, regional security and cooperation, climate change and the environment and regional and international issues.
