In his cables to leaders of brotherly and friendly Arab and Islamic countries, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sentiments along with his best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to them and their countries’ people wishing them further progress, prosperity and welfare.
The two sides agreed on exerting more efforts in enhancing business relations and augmenting the volume of trade and service exchanges between the two countries.
The message was delivered to His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister, by Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt and head of the Egyptian side in Oman-Egypt Joint Committee.
The two sides reviewed the existing bilateral relations between Oman and Egypt and ways to boost them in various fields.
During the meeting Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali briefed the Egyptian Foreign Minister on the development of the legislative work in the Shura Council.
The joint statement was issued at the end an official visit to the Sultanate by the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry from January 22 to 23, 2022.
The Omani side, chaired by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and the Egyptian side, chaired by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry reviewed bilateral relations and ways to develop cooperation further.
Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Egypt’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, attended the meeting.
The Memorandum covers political consultations between Oman and Slovenia.
