The meeting discussed the major joint projects that the two sides aspire to achieve, especially in the fields of renewable energy, green hydrogen and its promising derivatives and technologies.

The first Strategic Dialogue coincides with the 190-year anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Commerce, which established commercial relations between the two countries. It was the first trade agreement the United States signed with an Arab country.
The conference aims to enhance cooperation with Iraq, to consolidate security and stability and to support its efforts towards economic development and reconstruction.
The Minister said Oman's efforts to combat climate change, combined with its policies for economic diversification, offer great possibilities for cooperation with Hungary.
The GCC Supreme Council commended Oman’s announcement on endorsing the year 2050 as the date for achieving zero neutrality in carbon emissions.
