Sayyid Theyazin visits Riyadh Book Fair
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth visited the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, in which the Sultanate of Oman is taking part as a guest of honour.
During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by PrinceBadr bin Abdullah Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Culture.
Sayyid Theyazin toured some of the 800 pavilions at the fair, in which 1,800 publishing houses from 32 countries are taking part.
He visited the Sultanate’s pavilion, where he viewed Omani publications that reflect the Sultanate's civilisation, its culture and intellectual life.
His Highness was also briefed on the Omani cultural programme accompanying the exhibition, which includes, poetry evenings, workshops and dialogue sessions and musical performances.
