Sayyid Shihab arrives in Riyadh
His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, arrived this evening in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to head the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, to be held tomorrow.
His Highness was received upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region; Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Oman's Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of senior Saudi officials.
His Highness is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Economy Minister of and His Highness Sayyid Faisal Turki Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
