Sayyid Asaad leaves for Saudi Arabia summit

His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, left the country this evening for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Highness is to lead the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the eighteenth consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Gulf summit with the countries of Central Asia, which are to be held in Jeddah tomorrow.

His Highness and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information; Dr Saud bin Hamood Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources; Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef. Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; the Secretary General in His Highness’s office and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Oman.

Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation that includes: Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, Engineer Said bin Hamood Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Dr Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy; His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the advisors in his office.
