Sayyid Asaad leaves for G20 summit in India
Representing His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, left Muscat today for the Republic of India to head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the G20 Summit, to be held in New Delhi on September 9th and 10th.
His Highness and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Dr Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information; Salim Mohammed Al Mahroqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism; Engineer Salem Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs; Amit Narang, India's Ambassador Oman and Saif Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Sayyid Asaad's Office.
His Highness Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy; Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, Oman's Ambassador to India; advisers from Sayyid Asaad’s Office and Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
