Sayyid Asaad holds meetings on sidelines of GCC EU Summit

His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, met with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, on the sidelines of his participation in the first joint summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU).

Sayyid Asaad also met with Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, and Charles Michel, President of the European Council.

The meetings reviewed strong bilateral relations and explored prospects for cooperation and ways to develop and strengthen relations in various fields. There were  also exchanges of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

There were also discussions of topics on the agenda of the first GCC EU Summit.

Senior officials from the various countries and bodies involved attended the meetings.
