Sayyid Asaad arrives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, arrived this evening in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to lead the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the eighteenth consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Gulf summit with the countries of Central Asia. Both are to be held in Jeddah tomorrow.
Upon their arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Sayyid Asaad and his accompanying delegation were received by His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al Mukarramah Region; Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf; His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Abdullah bin Saud Al Anazi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accredited to the Sultanate of Oman and a number of officials in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation that includes: Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Engineer Said bin Hamood Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Dr Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy; His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the advisors in Sayyid Asaad's office.
