Foreign Minister receives Defence Minister of China

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met this afternoon with General Wei Fenghe, State Councilor and Minister of Defence of the People's Republic of China, who is currently visiting the Sultanate.

During the meeting, the development of Omani-Chinese relations in various fields and ways to enhance them were discussed. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and joint cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international endeavours aimed at achieving peace and stability.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Department of the Foreign Minister's Office; Li Lingbing, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Oman and the delegation accompanying the guest.
