Uganda delivers message for His Majesty

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik  received a message from President Yoweri Museveni of the Republic of Uganda.

The message concerns relations between Oman and Uganda. It includes an invitation to His Majesty to attend the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, in January next year.

The message was handed over  to Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi by the envoy of the Ugandan President, Ambassador Dr Adonia Ayebare, Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations, when they met in Muscat this morning.

The meeting discussed relations between Oman and Uganda and ways of developing them further. There was also an exchange of  views on regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs as well as Omani and Ugandan officials.
