President of Belarus arrives in Oman
The President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on an official visit. During the visit, he will meet with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said.
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, welcomed the distinguished guest and his accompanying delegation when they arrived at the Royal Airport. The Minister wished the President a pleasant stay and a successful visit.
The welcome party also included: Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority and Head of the Honorary Delegation; Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, Oman’s Ambassador to Russia and non-resident Ambassador to Belarus; Sergei Terentiev, Belarus’ non-resident Ambassador to Oman; and members of the President's Delegation.
The President of Belarus is accompanied on this visit by a delegation which includes: his son Viktor Lukashenko, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus; Foreign Minister, Maxim Ryzhenkov; Minister of Industry, Alexander Efimov; Minister of Agriculture and Food, Anatoly Linevich; and Ambassador Sergei Terentiev.
There will be a formal reception held for the distinguished guest at Al Alam Palace. This will be followed by official talks to explore ways of enhancing cooperation between the two friendly nations, chaired by His Majesty and the President.
