Political Undersecretary visits GCC Statistical Centre

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, visited the headquarters of the Statistical Centre for the Cooperation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf “GCC-Stat”.

During the visit, he met with Intisar Alwahaibi, the Centre Director General, and the staff, and was briefed on the Centre, its work and its assigned responsibilities.

The Political Undersecretary praised the Centre's outstanding role in providing information and statistics that serve officials and researchers and support the Gulf cooperation.

He was accompanied by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the Department for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and Regional Neighbourhood.
