Political Undersecretary receives US Envoy for Yemen

Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received today Timothy Lenderking, the US Special Envoy for Yemen, at the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, they reviewed efforts to support the Yemeni parties in reaching a political solution that ensures security and stability for Yemen and the region.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Department for the Gulf Cooperation Council and Regional Affairs, the US Ambassador to Oman, Ana Escrogima, and several Omani and US officials.
