Political Undersecretary receives UN Special Envoy for Yemen

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received today in Muscat, Hans Grundberg, the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen.

The meeting reviewed the efforts being made to support the Yemeni parties to reach a political solution that would achieve security and stability for Yemen and the countries of the region. The repercussions of the Israeli war against the residents of Gaza on the Yemeni issue and navigation in the Red Sea were also discussed

The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the guest and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
