Political Undersecretary receives Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received Dr Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance that cooperation across various fields. They also reviewed issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Mousa Farhang, Iran's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman; Ambassador Dr Sheikh Sulaiman bin Saud Al Jabri, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Legal Department; and Ambassador Sayyid Najib bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Deputy Head of the Department for the Gulf Cooperation Council and Region.
