Political Undersecretary at Arab Foreign Ministers meeting

The Sultanate of Oman took part in a meeting of Arab foreign ministers held in Riyadh to prepare for an extraordinary session of the Arab Summit.

Oman’s delegation at the meeting was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs.

The meeting discussed the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the search for an urgent solution on securing  a ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. The decisions will be presented to the leaders of Arab countries at an emergency Arab summit to be held on November 11th.

Oman’s delegation at the meeting included His Highness Sayyid Faisal Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Abdullah Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
