Political Undersecretary at launch of Young Ambassadors Programme

Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Young Ambassadors” programme.

The programme, is organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.

The programme stems from the Ministry of Culture's mandate to expand youth participation in the social and economic development.It aims to provide young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in regional and international conferences, events and meetings.

The programme also provides young people with the opportunity to exercise leadership and play a role in the community that helps them achieve their goals and the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
