Palestine: Head of Mission presents copy of credentials
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohammed Mustafa, received a copy of the credentials of the Chargé d'Affaires of Oman's Embassy to the State of Palestine, Abdullah bin Omar Al Haddad.
The presentation was made during a reception at the Prime Minister's headquarters in Ramallah.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Chargé d'Affaires stressing the importance of developing and strengthening relations between Oman and Palestine. He praised the support provided by Oman in various fields and appreciated its firm and supportive positions for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in international forums.
The Chargé expressed his determination to strengthen and develop relations in various fields to serve the interests of both countries and brotherly peoples.
He also conveyed the greetings of Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman's Foreign Minister, to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Dr Mustafa asked the Chargé to convey his greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and to Sayyid Badr.
At the end of the meeting, Dr Mustafa, wished the Chargé success in his new duties noting the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to fully cooperate in order to facilitate his work which would contribute to developing and strengthening relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Dr Varsen Aghabekian, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abeer Attia Al Ramahi, Assistant Minister for Protocol Affairs, and a number of officials from both countries.
