Palestine: Chargé meets Social Affairs Minister

Salim bin Habib Alomairi, Chargé d'Affaires of the Sultanate of Oman's Embassy to the State of Palestine met with Ahmed Majdalani, Minister for Social Affairs and a member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation's Executive Committee.

The Chargé stressed Oman's support for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the importance of preventing any escalation in the West Bank.

Counsellor Alomairi reiterated Oman's strong support for all the rights of the Palestinian people and its recognition of their independent, sovereign state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
