His Majesty receives the credentials of a number of ambassadors
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik this morning accepted the credentials of a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty accepted the credentials of:
His Excellency Filali Guenni, Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Oman.
His Excellency Yamamoto Jota, Ambassador of Japan to Oman.
His Excellency Ilya Morgunov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Oman.
His Excellency Muhammad Imran Chaudhary, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Oman.
His Excellency Kiejoo Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Oman.
His Excellency Thomas Oertle, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Sultanate of Oman.
During side meetings with His Majesty, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings and good wishes of the leaders of their countries to His Majesty and to the Omani people. They expressed their honour and happiness to present their credentials to His Majesty affirming that they will do their utmost to advance their countries' relations with the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty welcomed the ambassadors, thanking the leaders of their countries for their greetings and good wishes and assured them that they will receive all support from His Majesty, the government and the Omani people to facilitate the performance of their duties.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Chief of Royal Protocols and the military escorts of His Majesty the Sultan.
