His Majesty receives Ambassadors' credentials
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said accepted at Al Alam Palace the credentials of a number Ambassadors accredited to Oman:
Shaukat Ali Soudhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius, appointed by President Prithvirajsing Roopun;
Christophe Farnaud, Ambassador of the European Union;
Jean-Philippe Linteau, Ambassador of Canada, appointed by Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada;
U Tin Yu, Ambassador of Myanmar, appointed by President Myint Swe;
Duncan Mulima, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia, appointed by President Hakainde Hichilema;
Razim Čolić, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, appointed by the Chairman of the Presidency, Dr Denis Bećirović;
Roberto Ebert Grob, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, appointed by President Gabriel Boric;
Dan Munyuza, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda, appointed by President Paul Kagame;
Jacques Jacob Nahiu Andre, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi, appointed by President Evariste Ndayishimiye;
Nikoloz Revazishvili, Ambassador of Georgia, appointed by President Salome Zourabichvili;
Miroslav Sestovic, Ambassador the Republic of Serbia, appointed by President Aleksandar Vučić;
Uk Saron, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia, appointed by His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni.
The Ambassadors conveyed the greetings and wishes of the leaders of their countries to His Majesty the Sultan for good health, happiness, and a long life and for the Omani people to achieve everything they aspire to in terms of progress and prosperity.
They expressed their great honour in presenting their credentials to His Majesty, stressing that they will make the utmost efforts to advance relations between their countries and Oman in ways that serve the common interests of the Omani people and the peoples of their countries.
His Majesty welcomed the Ambassadors, thanking the leaders of their countries for their greetings and good wishes, assuring them that they will receive all support from His Majesty, the government and the Omani people in their duties.
The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Major General Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Chief of Royal Protocol and the military escorts of His Majesty.
