Oman's Foreign Minister meets with UAE's Foreign Minister
Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, met today, in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting the Ministers discussed aspects of the close relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop and strengthen cooperation in various fields in a way that enhances their common interests and aspirations of their peoples. Both Ministers emphasised the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to develop and strengthen joint cooperation and advance it to broader horizons.
During the meeting, Oman's Foreign Minister expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the fiftieth National Day as well as his wishes for the United Arab Emirates to further progress and develop under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their Highnesses the members of the Federal Supreme Council. Sayyid Badr Albusaidi also stressed the depth and strength of the solid brotherly relations that bind the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in turn expressed his good wishes to the Sultanate of Oman for further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. His Highness affirmed the strength of the close brotherly ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman and their leadership.
