Oman's Foreign Minister meets with Jordan's Prime Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met today with Dr Bisher Al Khasawneh, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as part of his visit to the Jordanian capital, Amman.
During the meeting, the Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to the Prime Minister. He further conveyed His Majesty's good wishes to the brotherly Jordanian people for prosperity.
Dr Al Khasawneh asked to convey the greetings of His Majesty the King to his brother, His Majesty the Sultan, and his good wishes to His Majesty and the Omani people for continued progress and development.
The meeting discussed the two countries keenness to continue developing bilateral cooperation in all fields, and expressed satisfaction with the results of the meetings of the eleventh session of the joint Omani-Jordanian committee. A number of regional and international developments of common concern were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; Khalid Almuslahi, Undersecretary of the Oman Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Sheikh Faisal bin Omar Almarhoon, Head of the Oman Foreign Ministry's Arab Department and Faisal bin Sultan Alhosani, Chargé d'Affairs at Oman's Embassy in Jordan.
