Oman’s Foreign Minister holds talks with Iranian Foreign Minister

Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister held political talks today with Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The session reviewed the cooperative relations between the two countries in various spheres and how to enhance them.

The two sides also reviewed regional and international issues of common interest. They touched on the talks in Vienna regarding the nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), emphasising the importance of the plan to achieve security and stability.

The session was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs; Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department; Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Ambassador of Iran to Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the guest.
